June/July, 2010

Busy month....sorry to be late so I've included 2 months in this blog!!!! The weather has turned warm and it is WONDERFUL! We've been very busy tending to the gardens and grass but it beats shoveling snow! We still have Friday 6/25 (1 room) available for the Loudon Races, call soon. Next weekend there is also a music fest up at Musterfield Farm in North Sutton on Saturday....beautiful place! Lots happening throughout the State in July..check out VisitNH.com. If you're a hiker...nothing better than the White Mountains for a great hike....maybe you can do all 48 4,000 footers over the years- quite a feat! Jack and I have made it up to 12 so far but we're slowly working on it! Treat yourself to a quick getaway at The Village House at Sutton Mills and be pampered!

May 2010

Welcome MAY!!!! Graduations, Weddings, family visits ....and best of all Retirements (Jack retires officially May 21-YEAH). We welcome all our guests this month with newly planted flowers, fresh green grass, and warm weather. Our grandson, Anakin, has been very helpful with breakfasts.....of course, he gets a kick out of meeting our guests and telling stories...he turns 6 this month so Grandma and Grandpa are always telling him it's time he had a job (A couple more years and he won't be buying that line!). Jack will be the Blacksmith at the NH Renaissance Faire on May 22 and 23. Join him on Facebook, we'll be posting pictures: "Village House Blacksmith". Don't forget the Loudon Races: June 26-27 and the Indian Museum Pow-Pow: July 9-11 (20% discounted room rates)...both are perfect weekends to come and enjoy beautiful New Hampshire!
